Rather pretty flame - well done. It reminds me of the figure of a womon - the goddess seen as the mother, symbol of fruitfulness and renewal, repair and growth.
I'm not one that normally likes fractals, but this is exceptional! I really like the simplistic fluidity of it. It's been very well rendered with not really any pixellation that I can see. The color combination is very pleasant and makes for a non-distracting background.
The only thing that I can see that I don't really like is that its hard to make out some of the details in the flame because they are so thin. This however would be difficult to fix without ruining it because, IMO, it's what gives the image it's simplicity.
Great job, thanks so much for sharing! This is one of the few fractals in my favs :)
"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
~ Henri Cartier-Bresson
If I had to have black, and I had to have wispy lines, neither of which I'd choose, well, I'd have to admit you've done a good job with them! The figure is graceful and delicate and the blue adds a nice touch.
