Wanna have some fun?

Wanna earn some creds?

Ok, here's the deal..

Post up your most scathing, sarcastic, ridiculing.. 'constructive critiques'!

Maybe, and as an example.. something like this:

"Oh, wow.. spirographic fruit? That must have taken some.. time."

"Viewed full screen, but.. now.. I shall never eat fruit again. I've been put off nature's health food for -ever, thanks to this rotting piece of imagery."

"When viewing your piece here.. I am put in the mind of.. a composter. At least it might be good for something.. in the end."

..//.\\. Created in Apophysis 7x15c (32-bit exe to accommodate the variations/plugins) and from a blank flame. No scripts were harmed in it's creation.

Feel free to.. share your 'not so constructive critiques'.. I insist. All views and comments appreciated.. however, only those Roger Ebert 'stinkers' of a review.. will be awarded creds.//.\\..

The green of a pineapple is all I see in this tropical fruit and as you know green is not my favorite color, but if it's fruit or veggies then it's oke, so I like this piece of work of you. And yes viewed full screen ofcourse!

Now you did it, Les. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but you have completely ruined my appetite for pineapples. All I see here are overly ripe ones that have turned brown, and started to stink. (Virtual aroma software turned on.) Please do NOT post anymore fruity image like this one, or I may be starving since fruit is a major part of my diet! Have a nice day! (lol and lol)

/\ Now we're 'not so constructively' critiquing!

That was brilliant, Jim. Lol.

... ...

Heyyy.. wait a sec.. or two. Twinkel said she doesn't like the colour green, and Tom said.. 'it moved'.

Need to adjust creds.. hold on..

... ...

And by the way, names will be forwarded to Santa..

You offer creds in return for criticism then give us this... not fair!

Noise? Let's see... none.

Jagged edges or lack of focus? Nah... nothing that doesn't suit the design.

Blown highlights? Don't make me laugh.

Composition? Seems perfect to me. I love the way the biggest leaves act as a frame, giving the impression you're pushing your way through.

Colour scheme... beautiful, and it's beguiling the way the central cluster of leaves takes on a different hue in different locations. Central clusters green; side clusters golden to amber. Kiwi fruits have an earthy golden colour on the skin, so I see no decomposition. :-)

The best part for me is the apparent translucency of the leaves... I'm guessing this has something to do with Xaos? Tell me if I'm wrong.

There's just one possible suggestion... what if the central cluster of leaves was bigger and 'sproutier' without completely screening the gaps below? It's super the way it is, but you wanted criticism, and this is best I can suggest. :-) So... do I get a cred?

I just watched a cartoon about hunting for the hidden gold on The Road to Eldorado and this sort of reminded me of a somewhat of an Aztec drawing. Seen a lot of leaves but I'm wondering where the fruit is. A person could go hungry here. Can't fault you on your design and the dimension of it. Great colors and it just needs one of those deities those ancient people liked in there.

Much like bananas.. the expiration date for the fruit contained in.. was short-lived.

In other words.. I had a snack.. or, four.

But, I do hear that some of the leaves of tropical fruits are edible. So, you know.. got that going for it.

:oP

Thanks, Frank.

Appreciate you stopping by and sharing your thoughts and ideas.
And the kind appraisal as well. :o)
