Classy pic... I love the concept and I think the apo section evokes water very well. I'd reduce the width of the black outlines on the heron to just one or two pixels, and color those in a slightly darker version of whatever part of the heron they surround. The grid is great, like the use of the apo material on it. Very nice! I can't do layers nearly as well!

I don't know enough about the programs you are using to comment about the results, except to say my first impression was that the heron was in the telescopic sights of someone's rifle! Not what you intended, of course. What you have done is definitely attractive.

Nice contrast, looks like it could be painted by hand.

This really is beautiful. I love the artistry to the finished image. The black border on the heron is a bit too distracting for me, it makes the image look like several well done pieces as opposed to a finely finished whole. Other than that, fabulous work. I would very much like to see this again with some work done on that border. I think it has incredible potential.
