The clarity on this bird is so good that not only is his wing span riveting but also the way the light is playing through his feathers, and not just on the span, but also on the tail feathers as well. I love the clear markings and the many different hues that we see here, and his mezmorising glare. I'm certainly glad I'm not on his list for supper :)PJ

Saw this in the VB ... scored it high. Kicking myself now for not going all the way on this. Gave it a 9 when I now can see it clearly and I mean CLEARLY deserved a 10. My apologies Robert, I must indeed be becoming senile. Great capture.
