It's the Roto Rooter Squirrel! Think of all the quick clean up jobs that tail could do! What a shot! One of those 'Never in a million years...." shots!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Awesome. I'm impressed by this squirrel....wonder what kind of exercise program he's on to stay so slim and in shape ;) Excellent capture and dynamite post. Thanks for sharing him.

That's great, Robert. He is frozen except for that near continuous twitch in the tail. Great clarity and color. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting. I saw two squirrels out in the backyard yesterday doing the same sort of thing with their tails..each seemed to be unaware of each other, and I have no idea why they do this...getting rid of fleas? lol..great shot, but he'd better hurry up and fatten up a bit before old man winter decides he's given all of us enough of a break for one year :)PJ
