Boy, he knows how to fool his predators. You found him though and took a nice crisp, clear shot of him. I have seen some that look like this, but when they open their wings, they are a bright blue color.

I thought I commented on this once already? Nope, I voted on it..that's right. I remember examining the "eye" and thinking how clear the photo was because I could see even a sharp-eyed bird being confused with a fly-by glance!
