Beautiful place Bob. No wonder that you feel inspired there. I love the contrasts of beige and blue, and that water is gorgeous, lovely reflections too. Great work. :)

Lovely muted colours and beautiful understated countryside. A really good image. This type of countryside looks familiar because it looks very English to me.(I'm not trying to steal your country back!! lol)

Looks like your fall is about gone. We're still pretty green just a tad south of you in Missouri. Great photo with the tree guarding over your favorite spot. The colors are cold feeling, which gives me indication of what's to come.

So this is what gives you inspiration? I can see why...just looking at the way you composed this gives me a sense of how talented you are...I won't say a word about the horizon line, I promise!!

A beautiful shot. I like the contrast between the two trees. I also like the water reflections and the way the water forks over to the horizon, twice.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Another case where I'm lost for superlatives. I'll just say that this is an inspiration. It has a coolness and an atmosphere that I've rarely seen bettered. It joins my favourites.
