Moon Pie variety of hibiscus (another one? hey, it's spring!). Taken semi-early morning for shadows; centered w/'edge' for wallpaper use (I like icons around the edges of the screen). Natural light - no flash.

Beautiful flower! I love the details and colours. Background could do with a little bit masking, but that is minor drawback. I love it.

Very interesting image. I especially like the way the shadow of the stigma falls towards the left, adding further interest. I tend to agree with Saulius about the background - it distracts a little from an otherwise excellent subject. Apart from this minor point, great work.

The first words to come out of my mouth was WHOA! when it opened up. I love the deep yellow outline with the ruffle edges and like that the background is dark giving this beauty the attention she deserves. Thank you so much for sharing this with me, I feel so special to be with people who love the same.
