Wow Rick, what a nice capture you have!! These feathered friends are difficult to shoot because of their rapid wing movement, but you have managed it quite nicely. You are correct that it appears to be looking down. Good clarity, good color, good quality and spot on composition. Right into my favorite's folder on my hard drive. Thank you for sharing this neat shot with us :~)

Very goood. I've been trying for the past month to get a shot at my feeder but they all seem to be camera shy. Every time I have it ready they disappear. Very sharp. It's headed towards my desktop. thanks

I think you are doing excellent work. Not only did you capture a marvelous subject but the fact that you got it in flight. Great composition, remarkable detail and I love the way you have controled the depth of field to bring out the detail in the humming bird.
