Looking SW from Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay, about 90 minutes before sunset. Not much color in this scene anyway so thought would see how it looks as a B&W.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

What's that big thing in the middle of the bridge? Is that always there? (Pardon the non-Californian questions) I really like how the foreground really gives this some depth, coupled with the dramatic sky. I'm always curious in these B&W's what they looked like in color because I'm imagining nice dark charcoal color of grey for the rocks, a nice dark bluish color for the water, a red bridge and a bright white sky on the right quickly fading to a dark grey on the left. I'm imagining lots of color. Perhaps the original wasn't so colorful?
The bridge which is supposed to be the main theme stands out clearly against the lighter sky but the buildings on the opposite shore are not clear. Perhaps a little more brightening would have helped. A good black and white photo of the bay.
"For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if One died for all, then were all dead: and that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again." II Corinthians 5:14-15, KJB
I always love just looking at this bridge, it seems to me to be a group of friends holding hands, whereas the golden gate bridge looks like a couple, the two compliment the city well. It's a great place to spend your twenties, with friends and loved one.
