Looking W over the Tucson Moutains from the upper Santa Catalina Mountain foothills, Tucson's northern boundary. Somewhat overexposed but the light was changing and fading fast! BTW, no Daylight Savings Time in AZ - we WANT the sun to set in summer!

I feel as though I'm standing in a painting looking at this Picture...it's gorgeous. Love the composition of the mountains beneath and more of a shadow, that's great :)

This is soooooooooo beautiful! There is nothing like a flaming sunset such as this one! I live at the Oregon Coast and the sunsets appear this way also. I would really love to do a canvas painting of this photo of yours, if you would let me know. Hopefully that would be ok. I love this photo.I got it in the voting booth and for sure it got a TEN from me....verena

What an amazing sunset! I like the little bit of blue that remains at the top of the sky. I applaud Arizona for standing firm on that time zone thing. It is a real nuisance. I think they moved the date so the IRS could get its money an hour earlier! LOL

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

There's no better place than Tuscon to watch a sunset! I don't envy your summer heat though, I thought Florida was bad! Whew! Amazing colors Rick.
