These guys never seem to stop moving but this one didn't mind a camera coming to within a couple feet! A little fluffed up, almost like he's chilly. He's on a post so handheld at waist level. Taken on Oahu, Hawaii.

I've never seen that bird so I looked it up... it is a Brazilian Red Cap Cardinal. Where did you find it?

I love this pix. After I saw fore, I decided to look in your gallery. I'm a St. Louis Cardinal fan (bigtime) and I've never seen this species. Thanks for posting.
