A narrow shaft of sunlight through the trees lighting a portion of my 'kangaroo paw' flowers on the patio yesterday afternoon. (pls check it out at the full res; f5, 500th/sec)
I guess I can honestly say that I've never seen one of these before, so it's hard for me to get a handle on what it's supposed to look like. All I can say is that I like the light and shadow and the very fact that you posted it. Always learning new things!!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

Wow that's a pretty amazing shot when viewed close up! I've never seen a kangaroo paw plant before, it's so fuzzy! At first in 827x620 I thought there was an artistic filter on it and liked that as well but appreciated it even more when viewed in zoom after downloading it. Very cool! Love the lighting :)
