Well, I hate to be the one to point it out, Mr. Jack, but your horizon line is off..that's why you're confused j/k j/k j/k..but this is a different feel from the lined-up and thank you very much fractal that I'm used to seeing..great job, as usual. You always keep them fresh :)
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
that's so funny about the horizon - are you taking the michael out of some of us photographers who are pedantic about horizons? lol! just kidding ....and no way can an image like this have a horizon - beautiful twist to it I would say and very silky and nice to touch! It looks like I have some very ornate cover for my pc when I put one of your images on my desktop Larry! :)
"Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile" .... mygallery
Twisted, yes. So twisted and complex that I would think any viewer caught in this would be glad to see _any_ horizon after stumbling through this maze/jungle - crooked or not.
Beautiful colours. Terrific depth. Great sense of wildness. Oddly threatening feel to it.
I am honoured to be listed as a friend or to see an image of mine as a favourite, but I keep lists of neither. This helps me appreciate images uploaded by strangers as well as friends. Please understand that a failure to reciprocate in kind indicates a lack of appreciation for neither gesture nor work.
Well, excuuuse me. Who says a fractal has to be straight and level? As far as I am concerned the main requirement is COLOR--lots and lots of it, and you've got some great ones in this piece. I'm still searching for those socks you knocked off!
