Images like this need to be _VERY_ polished and professionally executed or they tend to be rather unpopular. I like some of the textures that you've used, however the blending in the middle of the image just really ruins it for me. The colors are also mot my favorite, but that could just be a personal preference. My suggestion is to refine your techniques and bit and play around the the colors and/or the blending areas a bit.

i don't think I would change the colors too much, since it is supposed to be representing something else... but I do understand. and i even agree with the edges; i may take this off, and add another version. thank you for the comments tho, this is exactly what i want to hear
