Interesting.. Makes a nice desktop.. Think I will save it for winter, when there is 4 feet of snow outside..

Nice shot. If only that palm leaf wasn't right in the middle of the photo!

This corner of the earth is like me in many ways. I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play. On the face of this I'm blessed when the sunlight comes for free. I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me. -Jamiroquai

Hmm... Yes. Mr Picky here. ^_^ I thought something similar to the comment above when I saw the shot earlier today. (But I had to go to work so I didn't have the time to comment...)

I think the palm leaf attracts too much attention from the mountain peak. If the shot had been taken just a slight bit closer to that tree (or with more zoom) and with that leaf just a tad bit to the left side... Then it could have made a great framing.

Having the leaf in the shot adds sense of depth and that is a good thing in general. I guess it would have been easier overall to just leave it out of the shot but I think you are on the right track here.

The photo is a beauty. We just need a little separation between the frond and hill to make it perfect. It’s strange how nothing grows on the rock, makes it look like a pyramid in the thumbnail.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

Nice Shot. Kinda looks like the desert where I'm from. Hope to see more!
