What a pretty day for picture taking. The sky is very pretty and the elevation looks like it's pretty high up. I'm not sure that this picture captures the full beauty of this country though.

Thanks for uploading this photo. My best guess is that the direct overhead sun is causing the earth tones to be more washed out than is desirable. The vivid blue seems to be stealing much of the attention.

It's hard to realize the vastness of the view which is what I'm sure captured your attention. This is truly a breathtaking sight in person, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. That is what truly impressed me of this area (and the worst "vast" is the best to summarize it), was just how huge and open everything is.
