Your choice of sepia tones does, indeed, make this image seem like it was shot in the '30s or '40s. It also adds to a feeling of warmth and tranquility. Your previous upload was also quite tranquil. Glad you discovered this web site.

What a darling image. The sepia works perfectly in this image. The castle is very nice and my favorite part is the conversation between the castle and the couple walking. There is a lot of life in this photo, which is something that is often difficult to capture. GREAT job.
