Springtime in South Louisiana brings foggy mornings that keep most people indoors. Me, I'm attracted by those foggy dawns to get out and see what nature has to offer. This row of cypress trees beckoned to me, and the nearby oak provided the perfect frame. Unfortunately all I had with me that day was a 3mpx pocket camera. But I had a tripod! I hope you like it.

Fine Shot Regmar. You captured the mood and atmosphere really well in this B & W.
Thanks for sharing .

It is all about the eye and composition imo, and you have succeded admirably here. The row of trees adds depth and leads the viewer in. Just the right amount of contrast to keep the heavy misty feel. Like it.

An excellent atmospheric capture Regmar. Like Rick stated ... the line of trees leads the viewer in. Makes me wonder what lies beyond the dense fog. Great presentation & B/W was a perfect choice.

Trees, they are such proudful things, looking like people standing there in the mist. Oh REgmar, this is just gorgeous.
I love the quiet feeling. I remember seeing areas in Louisiana that looked just like this. So quiet. And there is something so special about the Cypress trees. Thank you for refrshing my mind on the feelings of the South....verena

A fine image , i like how you framed it and how the trees lead you in the image , and i have a soft spot for b&w .
Great shot .( and it shows you don't need 20megapix for a strong image )

Good shot Regmar. I can't really find anything to complain about. You know I would if I could. lol Get the feel I'm on the edge of a cemetery. The branch does make for a good frame. Three megapixed didn't hurt you. Nice post.

You're making a deep impact in SLR territory with one of the nicest monochromatic images I've ever seen!
