I do not know what kind of object this is. I am not even sure if I shoot the right angle of this object.

Interesting find here. You have the right idea in filling the frame.. but there's two things about this shot that take away from it. One, the greens and yellows are over-saturated, but that's not too hard to fix. Two, the background. The cars and the parking lot are a bit of a distraction, and the tree right behind the sculpture.. almost seems like it's competing for attention. If this object is somewhere near you, why not try a revisit? It is an interesting piece. Maybe if you circled around it, finding a less busy scene to line up behind it?

Happy shooting.

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.

I agree with Rob ... It is a cool sculpture the the back ground is a bit busy ... either way it is a cool picture.

When I look at this, I'm guessing that you chose this position because it shows the sculptures best lines: sometimes the background just doesn't help out! I think you've done very well but would suggest instead that a re-shoot, blurring out the further details with depth of field, could give more focus. Kids would LOVE clambering all over this thing!

Where we have come from has absolutely no bearing upon where we are capable of going.

I really like the angle you shot from. You did need to use a filter on the sky though. Its a little harsh. I really like the statue though.

Hah hah! I agree with you... "What is it?" We have alot of these in Kansas City. Some yahoo in government decided we needed some modern art dribbled about the city. So you see something that looks like a twisted piece of bronzed chewing gum with a name like "Loving Mother", and you think, "Say what?"

Interesting pic. Good angle, good idea. But it is a bit washed out. Too bright. Another angle could have helped on this, or waiting until later in the day (or earlier in the morning). But a good shot, nonetheless. Keep it up!

P.S. I liked what you said about the wedding pic I did. Any comments on my other pics would be greatly welcome! Hope you're having an awesome day!
