Rebecca - I've not seen the crater this close or with such details. The ring of clouds adds to the drama of the scene at over 10,000 feet. Excellent photo! Thad

A photo of a place that most people never experience. Through the photo, it feels as though I have climbed up to the top of Mt. Olympus of old legend, and discovered the truth of it. :) A very good shot, and the cloud bank graces this mountain quite wonderfully! Have a great day!

Great view of Haleakala crater Rebecca! Hope those clouds didn't roll in and spoil the view. I was starting a hike down into the crater when it started to rain so I said "forget it" of course down below the weather was perfect...wonderful photo!

nice! great view presented here. I'm thinking this might benefit (slightly) from either a warmer color temperature and/or a slight reduction in the luminosity of the blue or cyan channels. as such, still quite the sight, and getting placed in faves.
