This is a picture I took on the Mad River Beach in Arcata, California. The sand dollar was just sitting there, propped up on a rock. I had to get a picture of it. I am no photographer, just a college student who likes his new camera. I hope everyone likes it!

Speaking as a rockhound, I found this photo full of interest, color, and stones that I would love to reach down and pick up for my very own. Niiice image!

You're too modest! This is quite beautiful. I got this as a comment request, and was astounded by all the aspects incorporated in this. The foamy water is lovely, giving a sense of motion, the varied colors also are quite diverse, and give more of a personality, to a mostly gray picture. The sandollar itself is very cool too, a bit washed out, but not too noticable. Excellent clarity. I really like this one, thank-you for sharing it.

I find this image very interesting, just a simple capture of some rocks, but i always like to look close at the rocks to see if i can find something unusual, i think the sand dollar could have been closer in my opinion. Best wishes and keep shooting. Dwight.
