Beautiful 600 year-old mosque in Egypt that is still in use today.

The depth, the detail, the composition are all combined here to present a very interesting mood.
The clarity at the bottom of the shot helps emphasize the architecture and demonstrate humanity's prioritys on what is present and tangible while the haze of the minaret underscores the great height and mans inability to clearly see the heavens.
A wonderful commentary and beautiful capture.

I like all the higlights and shadows. My eye seems to go straight to the top though. Nice detail, I love how you can see the cracks.

Archeticture is always appealing to me and this fits the bill.

Yesterday's history. Tomorrow's a mystery. Today's a gift. That's why it's called the present.
