Christmas is coming and the city is shining. This is my most recent night shot in Leiden (NL), and probably the last for a while (it's getting cold to be waiting while the photo is being made). The roofed bridge in the centre is the old Corn Market.

Magnificent night photo. The water has a glossy surreal look to it, I love it. The Christmas lights all around also add to the special atmosphere of the capture.

beautiful shot - the sheen on the water gives it the appearance of silk! The composition is excellent and I really love the gold/bronze tones!

Lovely! You might want to submit that to the Urban Life contest here, if you haven't submitted anything yet. :)

Well, I thank you for standing out in the cold for this one, and I'm sorry to hear that you won't be doing it much longer, so I'll really enjoy this and pop it in my faves..clear and beautiful.

I'm a sucker for lights on trees, whether it's Christmas or not. And the absolute stillness of the water with the reflections of the lights is perfect! Good job, I love it!

Wonderful! I too love to take these wintry wonderland pictures. Its hard to convey that feeling in San Diego, but once and a while I can pull it off.

Mooie foto. Dit is volgens mij de Stille Rijn als ik het goed heb. In ieder geval een van de mooiste stukjes Leiden.
