A Picture taken in Santorini, Greece. I was able to take this shot of the roof of a church after some heavy climbing in 35C degree heat! Well worth it though!!
Greek villages are like a gift from the photography gods - seemingly endless really great photo opportunities. This is quite an archetypal Greek composition but to really boost the whole effect I would have ramped up the contrast in colour and light to provide a stark white/blue clash that is normally seen in this type of shot. Nice work all the same.
I agaree about the contrast, but it IS nice to see it the way it really looks, for a change! I have a picture of this same view in my wall calendar, and you'll be pleased to know this competes very well with it!
Oh, please, please please, get me back to Greece!
