This is a crackin picture Roelf!...the rays peeping thro' the clouds, duplicated onto the waters surface is great...The overall effect is beautiful.....well done

This is a beautiful image.

Good clarity and detail. Absolutely gorgeous composition and balance. Annnnd ... as mentioned in every post thus far, and my own personal eye magnet ... the clouds and the sun's rays. I love that effect in real life and in your image here. Another standout element.

You really must have taken this just after, as you can see the rolling, darker clouds move off in the distance. One of those moments in time and place ... nice work.

There is a lot to like about this image. The crepuscular rays look great. So does the shimmer and colour on the water. It looks like an ideal place to explore by canoe. Besides I have been hearing about the Orange River since I was a kid and reading about all kinds of adventure and excitement that happened there.
