This was taken in Vilamoura Harbour at the entrance to the marina. What decided me to place this shot here was the fact I just came across one very similar in the new pictures gallery taken in the U.S. It didnt look out of place one bit so I thought lets keep it company.

He looks mighty handsome standing there. I think that if you moved sideways a little so he was between the woodwork and the pole it would look even better, just a suggestion. The colour, focus and detail are all good and I like the low viewpoint you used. It makes him seem more powerful.

Glad you ran into this its a very neat sculpture, do you know the story behind it by any chance? If not thats alright. I agree with trisbert on the angle you have chosen for this photograph. It makes it more dominant.
