I really like the composition of this image, nicely balanced, on the other hand you may consider framing in the subject a little tighter.

Well, the orange/red on blue stands out a lot, but it's smack dab in the center of the image. Move it a little to the side, use rule of thirds, and the horizon is also dividing the composition, not good. Maybe if you tilted the camera so make it a little more angular and move the camera up or down so the horizon doesn't cut through the center of the image. And I agree with .just in zooming in a little on the subject.
