Now I know what your thinking, "stupid boy taking pictures of common trees" Well what caused me to do this was a radio broadcast the other day about these tourists from Iceland sightseeing in London. They were surrounded by wonderful buildings and landmarks but all they were photographing were trees in the parks. When asked why one of them replied ." We have lovely buildings and fine landmarks at home but what we dont have are trees " Puts it all into perspective really don't it ?

I love your commentary Ron. How true! I personally never tire of trees - they're the most impressive things on earth. Nice composition.

Isn't mother nature just grand Ron. Your commentary is very worthwhile and 'just taking a picture of a tree' is exactly what the world needs to be aware of more. My favorite saying is 'save a tree' when I get all that junk mail. It's an excellent post and good reminder. Thanks for this.
