A sight not often seen, an inland bird of the hawk variety . Possibly a Kestrel. Usually found hovering up on high looking for tasty morsels on the ground but obviously spotted me and my camera walking along the seafront and decided to fly down and perch and pose . Ron.

Not a bad shot, but I find the quality is a little low...either that or it was blurred a little too much... other than that, an excellent capture of a rare bird.

Hi Ronald,
I love this shot, a great contrast in colour, the Kestrel stands out brilliantly and you have captured its markings so well. Cheers matey.
