Good idea I suppose, take your hat and coat off and hang them up when you come ashore. You could even tie the boat up as well. How ingenious. Aliki Beach in Thassos Greece. Ron.

Hi Ronald, I could have swore i saw this beach in my in box, without the hatstand, (we could make use of that in the locker room !) Beautiful clear water on this on Ron, great detail near the shore.

I know from personal experience how disappointing it is to get a negative reaction to a photo but I have to be honest and say that I find this neither an interesting photo or especially well composed.
The whole bottom left hand corner is horribly plain and you haven't taken advantage of the best features in the photograph - the clear water and the colours of the sea (the flat light on the water neutralises most of the colour on the right hand side.)
I also don't like the composition of the buoys (one is right up against or partly obscured by the tree) and I don't like how the picture is cropped really neat to the top of the branches.
Sorry for being brutally honest!

nice picture, i like the hills but the srrounding shore is not the good. i think a littel darkness would be much better
