Oh my God !! We were so easily pleased back in the the good ol' days. A penny in the slot and away you go. Now where is that "what the butler saw" machine ? Ron.
Ha I remember these, although I used to be slightly freaked by the laughing sailor. I remember I used to hide behind my Grandad's legs when it was set off.
Sesame Street ruined it all..that and a show called "Laugh In" which I have only seen reruns of...but both of them, and I do respect Jim Hensen for changing the face of weird puppets forever, gave us mere seconds of looks..see, comprehend, more to come..never a dull or reflective moment.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Very nostalgic Ronald. Life was so much simpler then. I might have known you would have chose the sailor being an old sea dog yourself ! Nice shot Ronald. Memories for all. Let me know if you find out what the butler actually saw.
