In the ski business chair lifts are sometimes not used during the week days. At Butternut Basin in Mass. a few sit and wait for the big week end. When I brought a group of twenty skiers there in 1968 they had about 4 to 6 FEET of new snow Today it is a different story. They are lucky if they have 2 FEET of man made. Anyone that doesn't think the earth is heating up is out of his or her mind. Right Mr. President.

LOL..Good comment on the warming thing Vic. Although as cold as it got here lately I was beginning to wonder! They are having the same problem with the slopes in the Black Hills of SD too..no snow! Not even enough for the snowmbile trails. Good shot of the lift!

We've got plenty up here in the White Mountains...got three or more feet of the stuff here in the valley...probably more in the mountains... and was it powder or was it powder when it came down..you missed some mighty fine skiing last Wednesday/Thursday. Hasn't snowed since, but it's been cold..I agree with you on the warming thing, although I prefer to call it climate change which has happened all through the history of the Earth...opps...stepped in a political mudpuddle..*removes foot and wipes off shoe and hope no one notices*

Good 'behind the scenes' view here not usually seen...it does look kinda' lonely in addition to cold...a shame the businesses that thrive on winter weather are suffering though personally I don't miss the snow...we've had enough for me...good shot, Victor.:Pat.
