Created the colors by placing fruit in garden. Any one know what it is? The fruit is sweet and expensive. This cost me $6.49 and it was only 3/4 of a pound. Would I buy it again? Victor

Soft Cradle

You've planted the seeds
reached and turned
the black brown soil;
gently rolling
grains of existence
into life's wonders.

As smells emanates from
passion flower,
your eye's full with
flaming color.

You kneel
in religious posture and
hope for everything that
tropical sun brings.

Nice shot. I don't know what is that. How could you buy something not knowing what is it? LOL

Nice color combination, Vic. Too expensive for my taste though. I'll stick to apples. ...Ed

Cheerful image and gracious poem, Vic! Like Ed, I enjoy very much the colors combination. I do not know this fruit, can you tell me the name? Have a very nice weekend my friend!

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun

The name of the fruit is Dragon fruit. Eugene is correct. It' not only is expensive it is very sweet and tasty as well. Four of use tasted and enjoyed it. Would I buy it again? Yes because the fruit made for a great party and is very healthy.
Split four ways you forget the cost. P.S. Also made a good photo. Victor

First glance at the thumbnail I thought it was a rosebud nestling amongst the hydreangeas. I have never heard of Dragon Fruit - it is a beautiful colour and the contrast against the blue works very well.
An interesting and pleasing post in all respects Vic, with the poem being a lovely extra bonus:)

Research tells me the fruit tastes a little like Kiwi Fruit so I think I would like it.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
