Reworked oil painting that I showed about two weeks ago. Undercoated this one with glass. Used knives and nails. Very thickly painted. It does show well but not as well in a photo. This is a dark painting that slowly moves to light. Look deeply and maybe you will see the true texture. Left ground, right ground and forward of the water ground are builded up. The single fallen tree on the right was added last and was also enhanced with crushed glass. Painting size is 16"x20". People have asked how I work with glass . I crush the glass in a tin can with a drill bit. When the glass starts to smoke it is ready to apply . I am not kidding when I say that. Victor

I really like your highligting & the way you make your crowded tree trunks stand out & actually provide depth in the dark background. Not an easy task. ...Ed
