Empty Hands Await

Sheep to slaughter
no tenderness
in death.
Eyes staring outward,
skin and bones pilled
in single hole.
There's no return-
hopefully.

Scrapes on extremities
will bleed
large hemorrhage
annihilates.
Empty eyes
hold no surprises
they're only mounds
upon the hill.

Retribution over;
we drink wine
with forgotten supper.
Let me hold
your empty hands
lets pray together
you're not
the beast.

Had to try to improve on the picture.

Some ying and yang going on with such a light and airy image and heavy words , well written however and nice photo work.

Nice work, so many beautiful and bright colors and "reflections".
I like it very much.

This is beautiful and like the look of a mirror image with such lovely colours
