Awakening
Birds chirping
repetitious melodies.
The wind blowing leaves in
circles of radiant colors.
Metal chimes thunder
loud lullabies as
they twist and turn
in a lovers frenzy.
Trees standing naked
in turbulent weather
waiting patiently for
a white blanket to caress
and warm kiss to wake woodlands.
