I'm not sure exactly why, John, but from this angle this church reminds me of a very beautiful and stately ship. 12th century, huh? Wow ! You have a lot to be proud of ! :o)

John, ging er wellicht ten onrechte vanuit dat je een apathie had tegen alles wat maar enige zweem van kerkelijkheid had. Getuige deze foto heb ik blijkbaar de plank volledig missgeslagen. Kan geen kwaad want het toont aan dat ook ik een feilbaar mens ben. Vind je opname overigens heel fraai. Gelet op de min of meer Gotische bouwstijl zou je weleens gelijk kunnen hebben met de 12e of 13e eeuw omdat de Romaanse stijl met ronde vensterbogen toen al volledig passé was. Nogmaals: fraaie opname! Groet Cornelius

Excellent composition and I can feel the air around it.taken at the right time of day.architecture looks a bit more advanced than 12 century...........too many "fanciful' features, as architecture from that period was much simpler----regardless, a great photo!
