He is looking very wise and sensible, but I have another opinion about being 'cute' John, lol. Does me smile for another reason too: one of my grandsons asked me once to imitate the sound of a turkey. The 'noise' that I produced then, caused pain in the belly of everyone of the 'audience' by laughing.
Great image with very good details and vibrant colours.

God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

I don't think it's cute.I think they are evil.Of course the photo is great.I wouldn't have the courage to get close to that guy.Or maybe only the turkeys from my country are evil?...Ok....Maybe he has nice eyes....But I'm still afraid of them :D
An excellent capture, however is it really necessary to capture something that ugly in such close detail LOL. He looks like an accident looking for somewhere to happen, hehe.
It must be that wild turkeys are different than domesticated birds. There is a huge flock of turkeys in the yard as I am typing this, and none of the males looks anything at all like this. They have little red "combs"...certainly nothing as grand as this fellow's!!
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
