We haven't seen much of the sun in the last month, but tonite's sunset - almost - makes up for it. Sorry about the wierd dimensions, needed to do some heavy cropping of cityscape silliness. Comments and critiques always welcome.

I like the widescape view. It puts the emphasis right on the sun and the wonderful ripply clouds. The colors are intense. A very pretty sunset.

The reds and oranges create a real nice "v" in the darkness drawing our eyes to the center. Real nice soft colors over-all.

I am seeing now, what John mentioned...the V. Pretty cool. The colors are super. Nice crop job. I like the outcome.

The colors are very nice, Rich. The dimensions are just fine, too - sometimes it's nice to have a really wide picture to bring the emphasis onto the subject. I love the way the clouds look, too.

God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you. 3-5-7 forever

"And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air" Perfect example in this one. I stand and salute you my friend. Excellent photo. I'll let someone else take care of the silliness on this one. Have a good day Rich.

Rich, you did a great job on the cropping to bring emphasis on the sun & the intense red sky. I feel alot of warmth & that's good. Hopefully we will be seeing more sunny days to come. Beautiful capture.

The coloring is beautiful, along with the edge detailing on the sun. I love the crop and editing you did.

This is really terrific, Rich. I like the way you have captured the sun in that "v" shape. I love the colours. I wish I could take a sunset shot like that. Mind you, in my neck of the woods you have to see the sun first!!!

I guess this one sort of gives the other image away. Nice shot.

This is the Northern United States ? Somehow I get the feel of the tropics from this sunset.... you must've been holding a drink with a frou-frou umbrella in it for inspiration when you took this shot ! What a beautiful sunset !
