We haven't seen much of the sun in the last month, but tonite's sunset - almost - makes up for it. Sorry about the wierd dimensions, needed to do some heavy cropping of cityscape silliness. Comments and critiques always welcome.

The colors are very nice, Rich. The dimensions are just fine, too - sometimes it's nice to have a really wide picture to bring the emphasis onto the subject. I love the way the clouds look, too.
God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you.

"And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air" Perfect example in this one. I stand and salute you my friend. Excellent photo. I'll let someone else take care of the silliness on this one. Have a good day Rich.
Rich, you did a great job on the cropping to bring emphasis on the sun & the intense red sky. I feel alot of warmth & that's good. Hopefully we will be seeing more sunny days to come. Beautiful capture.
This is really terrific, Rich. I like the way you have captured the sun in that "v" shape. I love the colours. I wish I could take a sunset shot like that. Mind you, in my neck of the woods you have to see the sun first!!!
This is the Northern United States ? Somehow I get the feel of the tropics from this sunset.... you must've been holding a drink with a frou-frou umbrella in it for inspiration when you took this shot ! What a beautiful sunset !
