This is an edit of Turntable2. My good friend John was kind enough to point out that with a little cropping the tracks would offer a much better perspective point and DOF. Let me know what you think and my thanks to John for the great idea. I also LOVE the little tiny stop sign there. When the tracks were in use, if a train didn't stop when the bridge was in this position it would plunge straight into the river. Thanx for the advance warning guys! Rich

I liked it then, I like it better now. Johnny Roc knows his DOF. As for you, I expect your perspective to be somewhat skewed. I always thought DOF stood for Dumb Old Pharp. lol

I think moving the rails to the corners has added to your over-all appeal and directs our eyes down the center of the picture. You have a wonderuful picture no matter which version is preferred.

I think John had a good idea. I just took a quick look at these two images side by side in your gallery and I can see that this is the better crop because it does draw you closer. Yeah, that stop sign is really prominent! lol The b/w gives the image a desolate look.

It does give a more interesting look down the tracks. Good work.

I love the cropped version much better & like John said it gives the viewer more perspective. To me the first one had more a stark appearance, but the cropped version makes me feel like I am actually there ... which is why this image appeals to me more. I really like the complex lines of the fence & structures. Excellent work Rich.

I like this one better, thanks to John, and also to you, Rich, for taking his advice. Nice redux, Rich.

I still like the angle and the perspective of this one, Rich. Well done and thanks for sharing.
