To all of my dear friends at Caedes: I may not be around quite as much as I have been. I am going through a very difficult time in my life right now. This picture, which I'm confident the cows will ravage, is quite symbolic of that. The bare trees, grey forbidding skies, and quiet desolation match my mood quite well. Yet, the light breaking through the clouds and reflecting off Lake Michigan remind me, encourage me and cheer me with the reminder that spring and re-birth will occur, both in nature and in my own personal life...

Sorry to hear about the low ebb in your life Rich. After reading your poignant narrative and viewing the beautiful photo I know you can weather this storm. You have many friends, me included, praying for you. With all this support you'll get through this. This is awesome photo and I can tell you have the right attitude to survive. Time is the great healer. Hang in there my friend.

I'm always sad to hear of one of our members going through a hard time, but I'm encourage to know that you look to your friends for understanding and support. It's going to go a long ways in speeding up the time it's going to take you to get back on your feet. We'll be here thinking of you and enjoying the wonderful gallery you've left for us.

The perspective in the horizontal is just right for this shot. It does represent hope and is so aptly titled. I am glad that you seem to have a positive attitude, which will do you well in the long run and I pray that everything, including the skies, clear for you in a very swift time.
