Beautiful... It's amazing how similar big cats and little cats are... I've seen that look and posture come over my domestic kitties, and when it does, look out!

Really good shot of the cat GBR. I wish the background wasn't quite so saturated so the cat would literally "jump off" the screen. I love the dead on focus of the cat. Good post my friend.
Rich, I love the composition and intensity of the cat! The warm color is nice, but I think the cat would stand out even better if you could manage for the background to be more neutral and/or desaturated. (That said, I'm going out on a limb and guess this was at the Milwakee Zoo which has heavy glass to contend with ... and the colors in MINE didn't turn out as well as yours!) Great shot!
Honestly, I like the view, but I guess the glass must have gotten in the way of a crisp take, but no matter. I like this one of the animal and for me it is the better of the two that you've sent along.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
Rich, I just checked out your two cat shots. I like the crop, and the overall composition of both images. The lighting's well captured also(in terms of brightness, contrast, etc).
To me, the color temp seems overly warm, and the focus, while good, could be much sharper. There's a bit of motion blur, more noticeably in this second shot. A quick trip through the Filter>Sharpen>Smart Sharpen>Motion Blur department might be useful. I'm just saying....
Overall though, both shots have a good feel to them.
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
