On a more serious note now ...
I am assuming that this might have been either, shot on film ... and/or, shot under some challenging conditions. As in, and stating the obvious here ... in a zoo.
Good natural colour. Good composition.
On that last note, and I am undecided a tad ... very good placement of your focal subject. Ideally, capturing the lion's tail in frame might have been the proverbial compositional icing on the cake.
Lil' soft on the focus. Not too bad, mind you.
You were also successful in presenting to us ... some dimensionality with the DOF employed. Like that aspect of your image here.
And but of course, so as to not be a total stick in the mud ...
