Ok you asked for it. Haha, kidding. I like it. I do think that the sky could be a little darker and the rest a little lighter. That is the only bone I have to pick with this one. Other than that I love the composition and clarity are right on.

I agree, a wee bid dark. You'd overexpose in the clouds if you brightened it up. I took a shot much like this one that I'll upload tomorrow- I think it had the same/similar circumstances, but I was a little early and had fog on my side. I really like how the road takes up the bottom of the image. Nice comp.

I love the composition following the road up through the trees. The uniform colors are beautiful. It seemed a little dark when viewing here, but when I d'loaded to my screen it seemed to adjust really well. I like the mood.

This makes me think of Mohican State Park here in Ohio. I like the low lighting in the foreground. Great shot, Rich.

I like dark tones in photos, but this is a tad too dark GBR. The mood is good but it needs some light on it to elevate it from just a dark moody piece. Colors in leaves are good and the curve in road is as well. Just my humble opinion.

Beautiful scene Rich ... I like how the road leads the eye in. The dark tones do set the mood, but I'm with a few others on suggesting to brighten the image slightly. I'd like to see those golden colors on the trees pop. The composition is spot on & I can see why this is one of your favorite places. Very nicely done.

A nice view well composed Rich. I run into this problem quite often with my images in the forest and in the swamps. If you lighten the image the sky looks washed out and if the sky looks good the rest of the image is dark. I have not yet found a solution to this.

While this particular shot may be alittle dark I can sympathize. Forrest shots can be difficult with the lighting. I do understand why you like this spot so much. It is beautiful.

I like the curve in the road and all the yellow trees. This must be a fairyland when the sun is up.

Love the road curving out of sight, and the muted yellow of autumn's last leaves... moody and a little melancholy, which kind of suits my mood right now...
