Posts like this always mean different things to different to people...but they always remind me that even when there are storm clouds on the horizon, or things appear bleak, our friends are there to light the way and show us that this to will pass. It's a truly lovely composition and stirring image. If only the highlights and shadows weren't lost. A poloarizer might have helped. If you have a tripod, you can do two exposures - one for the highlights and one for the shadows. Then when you download them, you can combine the photos in an editing program for a perfect image. You surely pick the most trying conditions to photograph Rich! Just keep shooting, you've got a great eye for composition. anne :-)

There are tons of websites for uploading snapshots - photos of your neice, back yard, etc. "Caedes Man" did not start this website for that purpose. His intent was to offer a venue for folks to share artistic images that could be used as desktop backgrounds. Does anyone really want an out of focus shot of a dog for a desktop background? probably not. Let's share the good stuff and help others by telling them what's good or how to improve an image. We could all make Caedes a great site for everyone and use those other places for the snapshot sharing. A first rate family snap sharing website is www.easysite.com.
