A bright yellow rose she is. Nice color for sure. Also still wearing a "Diamond from Heaven" or two I see. Nice shot.

You got some really nice light on this, and a good soft feel. I also like the two equally spaced water droplets on the top petals - like little jewels that have been carefully placed there. I'd guess you've used a fairly wide aperture on this as the DOF is not too large - the front of the rose is very sharp but the back petals less so. That could have been deliberate, because it does soften the piece, but I might have liked to see all of the rose sharp. Nice work, with lots of nice elements.

I like this, but, for me, I'd prefer a deeping DOF (higher f/number) to bring more of the flower into focus. I think I would have also played with cropping out the red on the left, but don't know about that. Great colors!

I, too, am torn between deciding that the red bud on the left is a grace note or a distraction. I do love the yellow bud, no question! Looks like those petals have just felt a little wind, and this again is a little different than your average rose picture..and I like it well because by concealing the center of the flower, the viewer focuses on the color. Beautiful pic.
