Nice pic. Windmills like these ones are the power of the future. Wind is a tremendous, renewable natural resourse. They're quiet, efficeient and they don't kill birds like some suggest while producing a large amount of electricity. The people that work on the ones along Lake Erie were saying that they need a wind of 8 mph to work and shut down at 60 mph.
Nice shot. The dawning of a new age could also be a title for this shot. The wind power generators have really caught on here too. The power lines belong there so do not bother me, they are still needed to transfer the energy.
I rarely clone out power lines and given the subject I'd leave them. I like your sky here and the shapes of your clouds. The simple silhouettes of the wind turbines make it quite an elegant image too.
No, don't remove the power lines. They lend a certain context to the image in terms of scale and locale. Seems to be a bit of noise throughout.. but it's minor, and certainly correctable.
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
In my opinion, this picture doesn't need a retouch. And once again, it's perfect as it is, but it' your choice. (The windmills add flavor) LOL. FAVED! Can I use it as a background?
They make nice subjects for photography as well.
