Had this in the VB and took a nice long look at it there, but I had to come and take a closer look. I really like the thought behind this shot and the shutter speed works pretty well (maybe just a bit longer would give the stream a glassier feel, but that might not have worked given the conditions). I like the composition and I think I see where you were trying to go with it...emphasize the foreground with the branch set against soft, flowing water. It works, but I find my eye wandering over to the right towards all the green, instead of up to the falls in the background.

Maybe a bit of a crop to emphasize just the fallen branch, that way my eye goes from the branch out into the falls in the back. To me, that's what the shot is all about...just my 2 cents. Great shot still...gave it a 7 just now ;)

I like this wide picturesque view and the curve of the river/creek. Although, I do agree you wouldn't lose anything with a crop off the right side some adding emphasis to the falls. Beautiful textures, colors and atmosphere.

Great use of wide angle. I like how the water makes the viewer travel up to see that fall behind the small tree. Outstanding one here!
