What a magnificent tree! It must be very very old....I love the photo you did of it. Trees are so interesting to me. I just wonder how old it is and why it grew into this mass. Thank you so very much for a unique photo. Verena

At first sight the main focus (tree) was very dark but when I lightened my screen the fantastic details of this old tree really popped. I'm not much of a photographer and maybe it was your intention to photograph it this way so I may be on the wrong track by suggesting you use your flash to help bring out these details on a backlit subject such as this one.
